Founded by Narvaez

[edit]

According to Wright, Irene Aloha (1916). The Early History of Cuba, 1492-1586. pp. 37, 59. who gets cited in some other old papers (p.27), Pánfilo de Narváez founded the settlement that would become Havana. Not sure if this has been litigated in academia in the hundred years since, but the sources in this article don't seem to contradict Wright. SamuelRiv (talk) 05:09, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Very serious problem

[edit]

I am aware of the notice, but I still want to write that this article is unnecessarily and exaggeratedly long. JackkBrown (talk) 02:29, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Does the 2019 Tornado belong in the History section

[edit]

Is the 2019 Tornado notable enough to have its own subsection in the history section. It is mentioned in the climate section and has its own article. It strange to see the sections progress Republican period, Revolution, 2019 Tornado, as if the tornado was the most notable thing that has happened since the revolution!
